The Westwood Community Band presented its second performance in the ongoing summer concert series at the bandstand in Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Westwood. The group of adult volunteer musicians of varying ages and experiences perform musical arrangements which vary week to week from jazz to classical and even a little rock and roll. The concerts, which are sponsored by the recreation department, are held every Friday at 8 p.m. all summer until Labor Day.
